Cheeky Mare
Cheeky Mare is a quintessentially British brand with a good dose of humour thrown into the mix.
They launched in December 2020 with a gorgeous collection of bone china homeware and gifts. We were asked to come on board to delivery complete digital marketing management from pre-launch.
Project Outline
We were asked to take on complete digital marketing management including social media management, facebook and google advertising, search engine optimisation, and email marketing.
Our first step was to develop a six month digital marketing strategy, including brand and competitor analysis. We then worked on forming a plan for launch, including a 5 day teaser campaign for pre-launch.
Working closely with Cheeky Mare’s brilliant founder, we had a very successful launch and have continued with steady growth in all areas.
Challenges
Cheeky Mare, as the name suggests, is full of cheekiness! One interesting challange we faced was advertising products on Facebook which would not comply with the advertising policies. These included mugs with the slogans ‘Boss Bitch’ and ‘Queen Bitch’.
We had to get creative with messaging and images to create intrigue while complying with advertising policies. These products have since become best sellers.
Email Marketing
Following a successful lead generation advertising campaign, we launched email marketing. With use of relevant holidays and events such as International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day, we’ve seen great success from these emails.
